These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Holidays Corner website and any booking made with us. By browsing the site, requesting a quote, or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Holidays Corner is a travel planning service that designs and books custom domestic holidays across India. Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Holidays Corner; "you" refers to the traveller or person making the booking.

2. Quotations & bookings

  • All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • A booking is confirmed only once we receive the agreed advance payment and a written confirmation from you (email or signed quote).
  • Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes, or supplier rate revisions before final confirmation.
  • The lead traveller (the person making the booking) is responsible for ensuring all travellers in the party agree to these Terms.

3. Payment terms

  • A non-refundable advance (typically 25–50% of the trip cost) is required to confirm a booking.
  • The full balance must be cleared at least 21 days before the trip start date, unless otherwise communicated.
  • For peak-season or high-demand bookings (luxury hotels, festivals, charters), we may require full payment upfront.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI or supported online payment methods. All transactions are in INR unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation & refunds

Cancellation charges depend on the time of cancellation, calculated on the total trip cost:

  • More than 30 days before departure: advance payment retained.
  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% of trip cost.
  • 7–14 days before departure: 75% of trip cost.
  • Less than 7 days, or no-show: 100% of trip cost.

Some hotels, flights and experiences carry stricter, non-refundable supplier policies. These will be clearly noted in your itinerary and override the schedule above.

5. Changes to your booking

  • Date, hotel or itinerary changes are subject to availability and supplier rules; revised costs may apply.
  • We will always try to find a fair workaround, but we cannot guarantee changes after confirmation.
  • Name changes after ticketing may incur airline or supplier fees.

6. Travel documents & ID

You are responsible for carrying valid government-issued ID, permits (where required), and any documents needed for your destinations. We will guide you, but we are not liable for denied boarding, hotel check-in refusal, or entry denial due to missing or invalid documents.

7. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that every traveller takes domestic travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation and lost baggage. Holidays Corner is not liable for losses that would be covered by a standard travel insurance policy.

8. Our role & liability

  • We act as a booking agent between you and the actual service providers (hotels, airlines, transport operators, activity providers).
  • We carefully select our partners but are not liable for their independent acts, omissions, delays, accidents, or service failures.
  • We are not responsible for losses caused by force majeure events — natural disasters, weather, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, government actions or any cause beyond our reasonable control.
  • Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service.

9. Conduct during travel

Travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, partners, fellow travellers and the environment. We reserve the right to terminate, without refund, the trip of any traveller whose conduct is unsafe, illegal, or causes distress to others.

10. Photos & content

Images, itineraries, and descriptions on our website are illustrative. Hotel rooms, room categories, vehicles and meals may differ slightly based on availability at the time of travel.

11. Complaints

If something isn't right during your trip, please tell us immediately so we can fix it on the spot. Post-trip complaints must be raised in writing within 14 days of your return to hello@holidayscorner.in.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at our registered place of business.
